Many marriages and homes have been salvaged and helped through the years by listening to the four messages on The Home.  There have even been instances where couples were already divorced and, after listening to these tapes together, later remarried.  Also, there have been a few preachers over the years that have credited these simple messages with keeping their families and marriages together.  We praise the Lord that He has used them to be a blessing and help to a great number of people.

STARTED WITH US

To be honest with you, these Bible truths and principles were a help to Betty and I many years ago.  We were involved in a strong disagreement just before I was to leave for a Revival meeting in Florida.  She took me to the airport and drove off after I got my luggage out of the back of the car...without kissing me goodbye.  So, I determined to spend the next week searching the Scriptures to prove HER wrong.   After 5 days, the only thing I proved was that I WAS WRONG!!!  Talk about a shock!  I phoned Betty, apologized, and asked her to forgive me. The next Sunday morning, the last day of our meeting, I preached what I had learned about Bible rules for husbands and wives.   At the end of the message when the invitation began, almost every couple in the auditorium came forward in tears to rededicate their lives and their marriages to the Lord...and to each other.  We prayed with them, then I led them in renewing their vows to each other.  It was the beginning of many blessed responses to this message.
