DANNY HARVEY Born in Miami, Florida on August 29, 1947, little Danny Harvey is now 58 years old, standing 6' 1 1/2" and weighing 325 lbs. He is every inch a man's man, yet tenderhearted and compassionate. He was saved at the age of 14. Later, in his youthful ignorance, he joined a Mormon Church. At the age of 18, after learning more of the truth from the Word of God, the Bible, he was baptized in and became a member of a Baptist Church. Later he pastored four different Baptist Churches in Tennessee, California (2), and Alabama. HIS MINISTRY As a Pastor, he also served as Principal and Board member of San Francisco Christian High School. For three years he served as Vice President of San Diego Baptist Theological Seminary (North Campus). He later was a College Professor at Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida. His knowledge of the Bible and natural inborn common sense makes him uniquely qualified to help and advise anyone who seeks his counsel. He has a Graduate of Theology Degree from Tennessee Temple University; a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Doctor of Divinity Degree from San Diego Baptist Theological Seminary; and a Doctor of Theology in Ministry from Landmark Baptist College. He is more than qualified educationally to offer wise counsel. On January 20, 1970, he married Barbara Rothfeldt. Their marriage and home have been a loving example for all who have known them. Their homes have often been known as the "Harvey Hotel" for military personnel. A VIETNAM VETERAN As a one time Army Drill Sergeant while serving in Vietnam, he was wounded in the throat, abdomen and left hand. As a result of surviving fifteen encounters with death, he received the Purple Heart; a Combat Infantryman Badge; the Vietnam Service Medal; a National Defense Medal; the Good Conduct Medal; and finally, an Honorable Discharge. We thank the Lord that He has preserved this dear man of God for us, and for all who have been saved and helped as Christians throughout the many years of his ministry. As an Evangelist who has known him for many, many years, I count it a privilege to call him my friend. I also hold him in high respect and regard as preacher and teacher. Without a doubt, you will be wise and blessed through his daily devotions and wise counsel which are to appear soon on this website. Stay tuned for future devotions and articles from Brother Harvey at this site. It will bless your heart. We encourage you to contact him at dannyharvey7@yahoo.com . |
